PARK AVENUE CLASSIC SIX
With positions as editor-in-chief and creative director at a top women’s fashion magazine, the busy executive who lives in this apartment is a perennial front-row attendant at runways from New York to Paris to Milan. He wanted to keep the space’s sophistication but desired a sanctum of peace and tranquility away from his hectic schedule and heavy travel.
The challenge was to create visual cohesion and flow across six disjointed environments with minimal natural light and eclectic furniture pieces. The décor features luxurious fabrics and a range of classic furnishings, from late Qing to French colonial, English Chippendale to mid-century modern.
