This is a highly desirable area with rental prices ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 per month or more, while buying a loft can cost between $2 million and $5 million with prices really going high for even larger spaces.

West Village

This charming neighborhood features cobblestone streets and historic buildings. Another extremely desirable neighborhood, loft rentals here range from $10,000 to $20,000 per month, with purchase prices starting around $3.5 million and upwards.

East Village

Popular with younger residents with a hip bohemian vibe, the East Village isn’t typically known for lofts, but do exist. Loft rentals range from $3,000 to $7,500 per month, and purchase prices easily start at $1 million and head north from there.

Williamsburg

A hub for artists and young professionals, Williamsburg offers trendy lofts in converted warehouses. Rentals range from $5,000 to $8,000 per month, with purchase prices between $1,000,000 and $3 million.
